When the diesel car is driving, it is found that the climbing ability is reduced and the acceleration ability is worse, which indicates that the engine power (that is, the output power) is insufficient. The causes of insufficient power can generally be divided into two categories: one is the lack of power in the case of insufficient oil supply, and the other is the lack of power in the case of sufficient oil supply.

If the operation is still stable, the common reasons for insufficient oil supply are: plunger and oil outlet valve wear, poor oil pump, poor relief valve, diesel filter blockage, refueling control arm refueling is not in place, flaring tie rod return is poor, speed regulation spring relaxation.

If the operation is not smooth, the common reasons for insufficient oil supply are: uneven wear of the plunger and the oil outlet valve, blockage of the individual cylinder injector, the individual cylinder plunger spring is broken or the plunger core is stuck, the fuel contains water or air, the internal rod tie of the governor is worn loose, the oil supply tooth rod is not flexible enough.

The output power of the engine depends on a certain amount of fuel supply to ensure that sufficient and excessive fuel supply is the prerequisite for the engine to output rated power. But it does not mean that as long as the oil supply is sufficient, it must be able to reach the rated power, because there is a problem of whether the fuel injected into the cylinder can be fully burned, and the chemical energy contained in them can be efficiently converted into the mechanical energy of the engine.

In the case of sufficient fuel supply and even large fuel consumption, the engine still feels insufficient power, the common reasons are: Uneven fuel supply, improper fuel injection, fuel injection pump tappet lock nut loose, injector injection pressure is too low or needle valve is stuck in the oil off position, governor adjustment is poor, fuel quality is not good, cylinder pressure reduction, air filter blockage, silencer blockage, car walking device adjustment is poor.

When the fuel supply is sufficient and the engine still feels insufficient power, there is a common feature, that is, poor combustion. Therefore, accompanied by insufficient power, there will always be heavy black smoke, large fuel consumption, engine overheating and other failure phenomena at the same time, which is not difficult to distinguish from the power shortage caused by insufficient fuel supply.
