First, check the fuel level of the tank. See if the tank holds enough oil, if not, add enough as needed.

When checking the fuel level, check whether the fuel tank is leaking oil. This step is still important because it is money that spills. If there is a leak, try to fix it in advance.

Second, check the oil level height, check whether the oil level height is within the specified range, such as insufficient oil, should be added in time.

If the oil is too much or too little, the engine should be checked at this time to see if there is oil leakage. This is also very important because once the oil is wrong, it can pull the cylinder and scratch the tile, thus damaging the engine

Third, check the water level of the radiator to see if there is water shortage or antifreeze in the radiator, such as water shortage, it must be added in time.

If the water level of the radiator is obviously too low, it must be checked in time for liquid leakage. This cannot be saved, if the liquid leaks will cause the engine to appear dry pot phenomenon, and then pull the tile and other damage to the engine.

Fourth, look at the smoke situation of the diesel engine, whether there is blue smoke, white smoke, black smoke phenomenon, and monitor whether the engine has abnormal sound.

If the smoke is not normal, the engine has abnormal noise, be sure to check and maintain in time, so as not to affect the progress of the next step.

Wipe the diesel engine. This may not seem important, in fact, it is very necessary. Because wiping the engine is not only to ensure the cleanliness of the diesel engine, more importantly, it is conducive to the discovery of engine oil leakage, liquid leakage and other phenomena.

8. Check whether the oil-water separator needs to be drained. If the water of the oil-water separator is not discharged in time, the fuel injector often fails, affecting the service life of the engine

If you do not filter the water or impurities in the diesel, it will wear and even strain the plunger couple in the nozzle. Fuel injector damage can cause the engine to accelerate unstable or weak acceleration, or emit black smoke.
