Precautions for using the Big Zeitdeutz engine

A good engine depends on the user's good use and maintenance of the engine's cooling system when using and maintaining the engine.

Performance and service life, good maintenance, can ensure engine attendance, but also closely related to the interests of users.

Daily maintenance:

1. Check the oil height in the oil pan.

2. Check the water tank coolant height.

3. Check whether diesel engine coolant, oil and gas connectors, clamps and pads are leaking.

4. Check the filter element of the air filter and clean or replace the filter element if necessary.

5. Check the oil-water separator (drain water or remove sediment if necessary).

6. Check the belt (visually, if the belt wear or small pieces fall off, replace the belt).

7. Check the fan (visually, check whether there are cracks, whether the fix is firm, etc.).

Run-in period maintenance.

1. Maintenance on the same day.

2. Check the tightness of the belt.

3. Replace the oil, replace the oil filter.

4. Clean oil pan and oil collector (if necessary).

5. Cleaning or replacement of air filter element.

6. If the diesel tank or pipeline is dirty, the diesel filter needs to be replaced.

Regular maintenance:

1. Maintenance period and run-in period.

2. Check and adjust the valve clearance (if necessary).

3. Diesel filter replacement. (Replace fuel filter every 500 hours)

4. Cleaning of diesel pipelines and diesel pipelines.

5. Check and adjust the torque of cylinder head bolts (if necessary).

6. Check and remove dust and impurities on the surface of the water tank cooler.

Run the engine every 1,000 hours.

1. Maintenance 250 hours.

2. Clean the oil cooler.

3. Check the torque of cylinder head bolts, main bearing bolts and connecting rod nuts, and tighten them if the torque is insufficient.

For the engine, the oil is equivalent to human blood, and if the oil or lubrication system has problems, the engine will fail.
